Come Sup with Me
“Daughter delight, daughter set free – won’t you come and sup with Me?
Sweet child of Mine – rest from your chores during this time when My Bride celebrates My birth
My Bride of immeasurable worth.
Gold, refined in the fire.
My heart’s desire. … to lift you, to refine you – without wrinkle or spot.
You are growing to become; overcomer, you fought.
Learning, you go; growing, you know.
Resting, you wait, I opened the locked gate.
Rest in My arms; peace, no alarms.
The enemy not near, no reason to fear.
My gift to you, daughter delight, peace and refreshing this Christmas night.”

Rev 3:20 English Standard Version Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.
HE (the Creator of the universe – ponder that!) wants us to come and eat with Him!
Matthew 4:4 KJV But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
Wouldn’t you be excited to be able to have a meal with a friend or family member? How much more so with the Creator of the universe? He desires a relationship with us – mind boggling. What an invitation. To be in His presence, to read His word, to listen to what He is whispering to your heart and to speak what is on your heart to Him. Let’s think about this for several moments.
Prayer: Oh, Lord Jesus, please help us to never become complacent about the relationship You offer to us. Help us to make time, take time to worship You and come into Your presence with thankfulness and praise. To express our concerns. To ASK. You say we have not because we ask not…. And most of all to LISTEN as You share Your thoughts, Your heart, Your direction for us with us. We need you so very much and love You! Please, no “drive thru” relationship but us, taking time to sit and sup. In Your precious name we ask these things today. AMEN.
