Can mere words depict Divine Perfection?
Can crashing waves undo a rocky shore?
Can crystals sparkle without sandy beaches?
Can scarlet sunsets bounce upon a wooden floor?
Can lilies of the valley
reflect His Splendor?
Can purple mountains stand higher
than His frame?
Can the loveliest flowers
outshine His Glory?
Can the mighty lion restrain
The Hand that Tames?
No sense seeking divine perfection;
as unattainable as can be.
Thanks be to God
man is not in need of this,
just to know His Reach,
beyond the depths of the sea.
For Perfection belongs to Jehovah,
in wisdom, in beauty and might;
He rules knowledge and song,
mere humans can’t do very much right,
BUT JESUS can’t do anything WRONG!
Elohim God
Glory in the sky,
look up and behold the majesty;
His Handiwork in the moon and stars
and tumbling clouds gliding by.
Yahweh, our Lord doth call Himself,
and Immanuel
to abide and contend,
The Alpha and The Omega,
The First and Last,
The Beginning and The End.
